Mid Century Modern Yellow Dresser

This dresser was so fun for me to do. It just screams cool.  Dolling this dresser up was like turning Steve Erkle in to Stefan Erkel. I'm trying to incorporate some modern lines with shabby and soft in my personal decorating, so this gave me great inspiration for some things I want to do.

French Provincial

I love this dresser.  She's a beauty and was so enjoyable to do.  Such pretty lines. I've been wanting to find a piece in this style so I was excited when I found it!
Measures 42" tall, 32" wide and 16.5" deep
$185

And just so you are aware, whenever I hear the word "French" I can't help but thinking, " Fronch bread, Fronch dressing, Fronch fries....."  Name that 80's movie! (Because really, I can't remember which one it's from, 16 Candles, Better Off Dead (is that the John Cusak one?)

I've Moved

I have been on a semi-hiatus because we have moved to Snowflake- land of not much snow, but full of many Flakes (note- Flake is capitalized, thus distinguishing that this is a group of people with the last name Flake, however, I will let you be the judge if some of the townsfolk also fit the description)

I'm loving it here.  I love it even more because I found some fabulous furniture this weekend!

I will be refinishing two Mid-Century modern style dressers, and a lovely little Country French Table, so look for those hopefully by the end of the week.

I do make occasional trips to the valley, so if you are interested, let me know and hopefully we can work out a delivery.  And all you lovelies in Snowflake (and no, none of you are flakes), and the mountain, I'm excited to be around and hope you love my furniture....more than your children, or pets, or husband, or chocolate, or Diet Coke.

One last thing- should I start a Facebook page? Yes? No?  You don't really care?

Petite White Hutch

I'm loving cleaner, more modern lines being shabbified.  I once tried to cram my size ten foot into a size nine shoe- it didn't work out, and I felt like Cinderella's stepsisters.  Sometimes I do the same thing with furniture and try to make it fit! This petite little hutch solves this problem! You can still display your pretties and have room for your table.  It is just right for a spot where a bigger hutch just cannot fit.  Her dimensions are 62 inches tall by 38 inches wide.

$130

She does have a tiny crack on one of the shelves (shown below)

White on White Dresser

This scrolly dresser is refinished from head to toe with antique white.  The hardware is distressed to show some of the original hardware's charming finish. Also some very cute keyhole details going on. The white is a little brighter than the pictures show- I need to fire my photographer, oh wait, that's me. Maybe I should just figure out how to use my camera.

Custom Yellow and Gray Dresser

This dresser makes me happier than Diet Dr. Pepper (sorry Coke fans) and Costco without snowbirds.  This was a custom design, so it already belongs to a very lucky girl with a very cute house to put it in.  The top is a clock accent paper, and is carried on to the door lining.

(This is what she looked like before her big makeover)

If you would like a piece custom made, let me know and we'll come up with something just peachy (or yellow, or white, or black, or whatever you want)!

White Mirror

This piece has beautiful bones but may need a little extra love. I dolled up the frame but the mirror has a few traces of acne (spots, and a scratch, pretty small) and the back is slightly bowed, but still usable. I love the look, but just would rather put my time into some other pieces I have going right now. Think chalkboard with this frame! $25

(The white on the mirror in the first picture is from the sun, spots actually on the mirror are very small and darker)
